Interview: Jenelle Riley, Andrew Carlberg & Jennifer Morrison Discuss “Warning Labels” & the Road to Tribeca Film Festival
When creative minds come together with the passion and desire to collaborate nearly anything is possible. That’s what happened when playwright Jenelle Riley took a step back from her day job as Features Editor at Variety to write a screenplay for a short film while enlisting the help of her equally talented friends Jennifer Morrison (Emma, "Once Upon a Time") who rose to the challenge of first-time director along with seasoned producer Andrew Carlberg.
Their labor of love started as an idea from a 24 hour event at a local LA theater company which later blossomed into WARNING LABELS, a quirky nontraditional romantic comedy about a couple of employees from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC) and their misguided views about love.
Recently I had the pleasure of interviewing Jenelle, Andrew and Jennifer to discuss their short film and the exciting road to Tribeca. WARNING LABELS is set to premiere at the Tribeca Film Festival Saturday, April 18th in New York.

Interview: Queens of Darkness Victoria Smurfit & Merrin Dungey
Over the weekend Washington, D.C. played host to the annual Awesome Con fan event. This year one of the featured guests was none other than the Queens of Darkness Season 4b trio of villains Maleficent, Ursula and Cruella De Vil from ABC’s hit series Once Upon a Time. I had the distinct pleasure of chatting with two of the Queens, Victoria Smurfit (Cruella) and Merrin Dungey (Ursula) during a break in their very busy schedule about their wild ride guest starring this season.
Both women were gracious and funny with a quick wit and amazing personal chemistry. It was abundantly clear both actresses thoroughly enjoyed not only their time on the show getting to add their own flare to the notably iconic fairytale classics but also getting to play along side series regulars Robert Carlyle and Lana Parrilla.
